  • Finish Strong Wellness Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that serves young people in the City of Poughkeepsie and surrounding areas. The goal of Finish Strong is to nourish physical, social and emotional well-being by creating supportive conditions that allow participants to build resiliency, self-determination, and achieve their full potential. All services provided are FREE to all our participants.

Get Involved
Volunteers are an essential part of Finish Strong's success. Volunteers contribute to the program in many ways, including providing academic tutoring and mental health support, organizational and programmatic support, and participating in program acitivites. Mentoring lets young people know that there is someone who cares about them, assures them they are not alone in dealing with life's challenges, makes them feel like they matter, and connects them to personal growth and social and economic opportunity. Finish Strong Wellness Center relies on private donations that enable us to deliver quality services to youth and young adults in the community. Private donations will provide opprotunities to purchase equipment, supplies, expand services, and increase our outreach to the community.
